what will fit

i wanna put new front shocks on my 250ex, but i don't really wann pay 400$ for works, so does anyone know of any kind of shocks off of any other quads that will fit, 400, 300, anything, even if i have to change the a-arms to, i just want to know if anyone has done this

Buying a used set of shocks plus a set of a-arms to get them to work would be just as expensive as buying brand new Works. Not only that but the Works would be better than an stock shock.

i know that but the works only have 7.1 in travel, and i am trying to see if i could get more travel,
