I've decided to quit racing so I need to sell this. I will NOT part it out. It is in excellent condition and had I not injured my back, I would continue to race it.

Approx. how many hours are on the engine since the last rebuild or since the engine work has been done .

When was most of the aftermarket stuff purchased ( ie a-arms , swingarm , shocks) .

What weight are the shocks setup for ?

And final question ... how far are you willing to travel ?? Whats your maximum ?

Quad18star, since the last rebuild it's got about 20 hours on it with NO racing. The last rebuild included a new crank, new rod, new crank bearings, new piston, new cylinder and both case halves.

All of the aftermarket stuff has been spread out over several years. The axle and front shocks were in '01 while all of the JB Racing stuff (a-arms, swingarm, steering stem, etc), including the rear shock was '03 or '04.

The shocks will probably need re-valved since they are set-up for a 260 lb. "A" class rider.

Please keep in mind that I injured my back 3 years ago and have not raced since. For the last 3 years it has only been used for play riding and practice.

I'm willing to go around 3 hours, or 200 miles. Possibly to Buffalo, NY.

I will not part this out. It will be sold whole or not at all. I think $5000 is VERY reasonable for a quad of this quality. Besides, when you're working 10 to 12 hours a day, 6 days a week who has time to part it out!

Its a very nice EX but without Long Travel 5 G's is steep these days. You'll be lucky to pull 4000. I not busting your balls, just saying that the market is gone for the 400ex and 250R.

I've seen people spend more to get less.
