I dont know if you guys know about this "teen tone" they have released, Its a tone that only "younger" ears can hear. I guess stores in Britian have started broadcasting this sound in their higher class stores to keep teens out!

I hear it perfectly. Have any of you guys noticed when you turn on the tv and you hear it making a nosise but it stays black for a few seconds. Well i noticed that when other people do that they dont hear the noise and if it dont turn on in a second or two they keep on hitting the button.

It goes along with the idea that your hearing degrades as you get older. you loose the top end and bottom end of the hearing range, but obvisoully it doesnt happen to everyone.

And they play it out side of the stores because they had kids loitering outside them all the time....

That one is fainter and I am willing to bet that more people cant hear that one. If you listen to it long enough you get used to it and can barely hear it.

There is a crackling noise in the second one... Does anyone else hear that? The first one was really easy to hear, but my mom couldn't hear it. She can't hear the second either... I could hear both, however.
