View Full Version : how does a 92 lt250 rear shock bolt up?

i bought a rear shock off of ebay, i think it came off a 88 lt250
i cant figure out how it bolts on, did the different year lt's have different rear shocks? i no the bolting was different, someone please help me out

yes.............I don't think the 88 and the 92 were the same. they changed the linkage. Send guy a PM.........or look at the diagram on this site...............

Yeah, i looked , they are totally diffrent shocks all together, you MIGHT be able to get one off of another bike to fit on their but i doubt it.

www.ronnies.com on the side there is a bar click on it then suzuki, then atvs. u know the model numbers and years. u know what to do from there. u can buy replacment parts from there also. but it will show u charts were it bolts up.

Nasty, your bummin' because it won't work. The '88 shock is completely different than the '91-'92 shock. Do you have the old blown out shock? It might be less hassle to just get it rebuilt. If the shaft is straight and not all rusted and pitted a dealership should be able to rebuild for less than $200. Another option might be buying the cheapest version of Works' rear.
