The guy around the corner from me is selling a 73' Honda CB 350 Four in good shape. It runs. I haven't ridden it yet. But he says everything works good on it. Is it worth $600. I am asking cause I am looking for a bike to get me to and from work to save on gas. Does this sound like an alright deal? And is this a bike worth buying?

TIA

my uncle had one..

its an OK bike.. uber dependable.. its definitely a "retro" style though..

if its a "clean" bike, itd be worth it(try 500 just ta see...)
dont think youll ever make money off of it though..

with that age, check for leakage around the fork seals.. other than that, i wouldnt recommend long rides on the stock seat..

cheap set of slip-on mufflers, a small faring and your set..

ive seen similar models with windjammers, but at 350cc i think its too much..

I love those old honda fours. I had a 71' CB450 Scrambler once. I wasn't much of a mechanic at the time so I never got it running very well....but I still liked it.

Condition makes all the difference on those old bikes. If it looks good than $600 could easily be worth it. If it's a rat-trap, keep looking...

i wouldnt... for a couple hundred dollars more you could get a newer, bigger, and better bike...

I have decided the same thing. I will just save up a little more cash. I'm thinking a late 80's Shadow. Or maybe a nighthawk.
