cutting fenders

to cut the front fenders off do you just outline where you wanna cut? or is there a template i can find that will make the job easier? i have jigsaw that i can use, will that do it?

i ride some mud, lots of trails/pastures, creek beds with a lot of water. is cutting the fenders for trail riding a good idea, i mean it's not like i don't get muddy or dirty everytime i ride, cause the stock front fenders don't keep anything off of me anyway,,,later

just follow where the fenders bend and cut along that line
