Is the sprocket hub pressed on the axle and not removable? In other words if the sprocket hub broke you would have to replace the whole axle? This goes for stock or aftermarket.

I know for sure Lonestar is pressed on and removeable. I'm not sure on a stock one though. The parts breakdown shows the axle and hub as one piece, so IDK.

Im not sure when i got my lonestar axle i also got the sprocket hub and this 1 is removable im sure the stock one is to.

ive done everything short of wrapping tnt to the axle to get it off. i dont think the stocker comes off.

The stock one is very confusing as you can clearly see the snap ring.
The problem is no real good way to compress it at the same time you have pressure on the hub. It is also a tapered fit.

In short.....you cant do it and have anything left worth working with.
I had a friend spend an entire afternoon for the principle of it and he failed. Not to mention,the sprocket hub was all mangled.

If anyone else knows an easy procedure......I would be willing to learn.

I've gotten the stock hub off with a press. Then put it back on after finding out it wouldn't fit a lonestar axle.

on LSR's, and stock you can press them off, but press slowly!:D
