i was thinking about getting a je 416, high compression piston. white bros titanium valve kit, a Barnett high performance clutch kit, a all-around cam, that kit from fst for my oil cooler, possibly air scoops, and port and polish. how does that sound?

If you want to Port & Polish your Head I would call Hetricks or For Dirt Only. Most of the other Guys are way behind. FDO or Hetricks will also get you all your other Parts.

I heard the Barnett clutch is not a good setup in a 400ex, but I may be wrong....I would look into it a bit before you purchase it to make sure.

What dou guys recomend for a good clutch setup? I am also having For Dirt Only or Hetricks do my porting.

who makes the 8 cluutch plate kit? also should i get that? what material should i get? thanx

Hinson makes the 8 plate, But make sure you buy the basket, and we also run cr500 springs. My friend just ordered the whole hinson 8 plate kit that has plates, springs, and inner hubs and stuff. Its a $1000 though.

The Hinson is the best but FDO has a 8 Plate Kit you could run with a Hinson Basket or TC has a Clutch Setup too.

Which ever way you decide to go with the eight plate clutch kit i would definatly get the springs from FDO 740-967-1078
