I'm gonna be buying a gibson steering stabilizer and was wondering what kind of results you guys are having with them. I've heard that a stabilizer is the single best handling improvement you can make, well for the price. I have been getting some pretty bad arm pump, since changing over to a new set of bars, and some guys have said this will relieve some of it. I sure hope so.

it should help a little bit, you would be better off going with a precision/elka/ohlins dampener over that if you had the money, they are well worth it in the long run, the stick dampeners help a little, but not close to the higher end dampeners

Ya but this is only my first year racing so I'm not looking to spend insane money on my machine. They run like $4-500 don't they?

I really like my GPR . You can adjust it while rolling if needs be. It cost me $425. I heard from a very good source that the ELKA is gonna cost around $800!!:eek2: :eek2:

for the price you cant beat a stick stabilizer. and deffinatly if its only your first year of racing. you might be able to feal the diference between a stick and a higher end stabilizer but i dont think you could with the little experience you have. you do get what you pay for but at your level you dont need to spend that much. the denton dampner is one of the best of the stick. ether way you go you wont be disapointed.
