I have a job. I bring in about 170 bucks a week, working from 4 to 10pm about four nites a week. You guys don't save up for a car or truck or anything like that either?

I got to buy my 7 grand truck no help from my parents or anything. Ontop of that i got to pay for gas insurance and what not.

How do you people do it then?

my parents didnt help me on anything, the job i had made me $375 a week and i did that half of may, all of june, and up until yesterday when we finished the job. and then sold 300ex and got the yfz..... but i gotta buy my own gas, parts, pay my race fees, fees to get into the track. so pretty much for me if i dont got money or gas the 4wheeler sits there til i get the money to buy gas and other what nots. and about the vehicle.... well my dad is giving me his Z71 when i turn 16 next april, so by then i'll have another job and making money for the truck.... i bought the 4wheeler this summer so i wont have to worry about getting one and paying for it while im paying for a truck ya know what i mean?

And about the "how do you get them" post, I'm lucky enough to have parents that support my racing completely, and are willing to pay for it all....I bought the Falicon crank, they forked out the dough for the rest of the bike, along with all my race fees...so I can NEVER thank them enough.

Easy. Work. Im 16, I get my licence when I'm 17(NJ:rolleyes: ) I bought my truck first, then I bought my quad. I'm lucky tho, since I bought my truck and my quad 99% by myself, my parents are paying for my insurance, and they pay for my gate fees. But I have to pay for all my parts.

guess you never heard what happened..... my cannondale got totalled in a car accident...a lady rear ended my truck with the quad in the back of it on the way to an out of town race.... it bent up my whole quad and the cases of the motor even bent.... which caused the motor to say goodbye
