I Need Help With XBOX

I have a game that says "Custom Sound Tracks" On the back of it, well I burned a CD and put it in the xbox and it says "your xbox cant recognize this disc. make sure its an xbox game, dvd movie, or audio CD, also check it see if the disc is dirty or damaged"

It is a CD-R AUDIO Disc. It has NO SCRATCHES OR SMUDGES, I tried some of my old CD's and they all worked. someone help, does it matter what brand the CD is? This is a SONY CD

I use Sony CD-Rs to burn musc and I havent had any problems on the original console or the 360.

Should I just try with the same brand of disc again?

What exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to burn the contents of the disc to the memory on your xbox? Or are you trying to play a disc that has a "custom soundtrack" on it?

I want to put the copy the songs from the CD to the xbox.

its a game where you can play your own soundtracks copied from a CD

The cd should start to automatically play when you put it in then you hit the b button and select copy.

If it doesnt recognize the cd when you put it in, try it again with another cd and make sure you burn as an MP3 and not as data. I dont think the xbox will recognize data files.

I burned a new CD and the ****er still dont work. I think im gonna chuck it out the door again.

mine does the same thing it will only read a couple of burned cds i have
if your old cds work i suggest going and buying the sameones and putting them on there

Mine never read burned CD-R discs. So I just used the originals.
