I have a Dodge Dakota 5.9 r/t that i am looking to trade for a truck with a smaller motor. I do not need or use the power this truck makes so i am looking to down grade to somthing smaller and more practical for my use.

As far as cash goes id be looking for around 7,000

I would consider trading for quads but they need to be pretty hooked up and must be within the price range

like i said, it needs a new hood. the front bumper needs repainted and so does the gas door. the rest of the body is fine. its in good mechanical condition, oil changed every 3000 miles. im located in union city indiana, right on the indiana/ohio line.

I might conisder trades straight up for:

Newer streetbikes
MX ready quads
Extreme/S10/ V6 dakota

if i were you i wouldn't downsize to another dakota with a v6 they wont be getting you any better gas milage going down the road, i have a 4wd 5.2 5 speed and will push 23mpg with a/c on the highway, my buddy has identical trucks with a v6 and 2wd and can get about a gallon or two better on the highway but not much more at all.
