What is you opinion on cam timing,retard or advance?what is advantage to each.Thanks

i wouldn't do either because i would be afraid of starting issues. but if you are set on doing one or the other, you don't want to retard the timing on a 450r. maybe advance it slightly if anything.

advancing it may give al ittle more low rpm power while retarding it may give a little more high rpm power. of course, if you gain a little power at one rpm, you will lose a little at the opposite rpm.
