Tried to take the hill in the wrong gear. I am from Illinois and not used to doing hard steep climbs.

As you can see I start to roll back but then my back end curved off the trail and rolled over to my left tossing me off. She went tumbling down the hill as did I hitting some rocks and what not on the way down.

I took some bad hits to the head on some rocks, and if I wouldn't have been wearing a helmet I would have split my head open and ended up with a concussion for sure.

In the end just ended up with some cuts and bruises.

I just bought this 400ex last week as well. I was going to buy a new one but decided to buy it used so I could have a little more fun with it.

lol... the first time out riding my 400ex like a week after i got it, it was so shiny i kinda rolled it :P

doin a wheelie and just kinda sat there on the grab bar, not moving or anthing, as i went to get up it fell right :P

on video too ^_^

i was glad it didnt break my nice plastic :P

There was a problem with my video so I had to take it down. So I went ahead and posted the slightly larger version for your viewing pleasure.

If you can't tell, she rolled 3-4 tims and threw me off in to some rocks and small boulders.

Were you trying to climb that in 4th or what...your quad was pinging like a mofo!! 400ex shouldnt have any prob with that hill. :o

No, I'm just and idiot and hit it in third. It was the rider not the machine. Like I was saying, I'm from the flat lands, I'm used to racing and jumping not climbing.

Bottom line, rookie mistake but it made for good footage.

I remember the first time i tried to climb a hill and failed. It only takes once to learn not to climb it too high of a gear, I'll tell you what!! :p

sure is. we started at the north end of the directional, went all the way thru it, down exit hill across the flats, thru the whoop section, and down the to beach.

ive just been using a cannon digital camera and i got photo shop for free when i got my new computer i need to take my time and make it look better also i was to into riding then filming so a lot of the video was taken by someone else
