Hey I have a rad tapered carrier in the mail and well, I was wondering what to do to get it put on... I really need it up and going because I have been out of riding for over 1 and a half months now!!!

I'd buy a service manual,,there's a couple retainer clips that hold it in place,,shouldn't be to hard to swap out..

1:remove right side tire and hub
2:take breake caliper off
3:losen lock nuts (they are threaded backwards)
4:remove clip in axle that lock nut tightens against
5:slide lock nut and it's threads off
6:slide break disc and hub off
7:loosen chain and take it off
8:remove snap ring that holds the brake caliper braket on (proper tool makes this alot nicer)
9:remove bracket
10:slide axle and bearing carrier out of swing arm
11:slide carrier off of axle
12: slide new carrier on
13: repeat all steps in backward order!

it is pretty easy

You are going to have to put some spacers between the swing arm and the skid plate if you want the grease zert on the top.

the RAD carrier has the zerk on the sprocket side, not on the top or bottom, so he shouldn't have to worry about that. well, at least mine does...

[edit] just noticed his is a tapered, so it might be different. mine's a dual-row...
