I have a 1994 model trx300ex and it doesnt have a break light. If i baught this tail light off ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=190005943922&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT or rather, one like it, will it work as a break light? Would i have to connect any other wires etc..

I am not sure I didn't think 300s had break lights atleast back then.

it says it would. My 300ex doesnt have a spot for a brake light but then again its an 01. Plus I would have taking it off any way.

you would have to add a wire that connects to your brake lever and pedal to make it light up when you hit the brakes because honda didnt put the brake light that works when you hit the brakes on quads until i think 03 or 04

under your front brake is a mounting point for the switch. I picked up the 12v micro switch at auto parts store. same one they use for nitrous activation on a 4150 holley set up..
