its a simple formula

aluminum part+hours of sanding+1 can of mothers polish=shiny parts LOL:) !

Umm im not sure about the stock pipe? u can def polish it but if its steel it will rust. im pretty sure its stainless steal so u should be fine:confused: as for sand paper start at like 400-600 range maybe less if its a cast part. then just work your way up to about 1500 YES 1500. i didn't say it wasn't alot of work but it comes out sick. and after the sand paper and polish its free:cool:

yes my buddy just did my pipe,but it changed back to thegold looking color in about 15 minutes of riding.maybe if u took some pipe blue polish or something.i think its for street bike pipes.

When you polish the pipe it doesn't look the same as it did when you start to ride it. It looks alot better. i will post some pics after i ride it some.

the head pipe isn't aluminum.
too much heat for aluminum.

Nice. I've done the same with some small parts. Even with a wheel it takes some time.... Motor mount looks good!

ride it for 10 minutes then see what that polished stainless pipe looks like. probably just like the first picture.

YEP. Polished pipe doesn't last for long. Try ceramic coating it for a finish that will last. Not sure if keeping the heat in is good though.
