View Full Version : yz hybrid bog

I have had my yz426 hybrid out a bunch of times now and have got most of the bugs worked out , these things rip they are a handfull. I only have one problem and that is a low end bog and it only happends when you hit it from a dead idle and it will stall if you are not watching what you are doing,other then that the thing works great any help would be great.

i had the same problem when i first got my 440ex and i tried everything i could think of even tried posting it up here everyone said jetting and plug and what have you and it turned out to be the accelerator pump not pushing enough fuel in when you first hit the gas. yours could go either way could be to rich when you hit it or could be too lean try bending the little lever down just a bit for the accel. pump thats what i did if it gets alittle better push it a little more and try it again till you get it the way you want it. hope this is helpfull

If its doing it at idle-too much accel pump!
If its in gear running at low rpms-try adding a fly wheel weight
8-10 oz.

It only does it at an idle when you blip it wide open I tried going smaller on the pilot didn't help and I tried moving the clip up one notch didn't work and I have screwed with the mixing screw nothing has worked so far.what do you mean by to much eccel pump

mine was doing it off idle and it wanst enough accel pump it can go either way on it but hey what do i know only been working on cars since i was 6

If you did the bk mod then your valves are probably out of spec.;)
