well this is probably dumb for as much as i know but is there a part number on the cam so i know what is in it?or do i have to mic. out the lobes and figure it out that way?

Most cams will have something marked on them.

Yeah, hotcams are stamped, not for sure if the stock cam is...

look in the middle of all the lobes if one side says E and the opposite side says K than its a stock cams :) thats all i can help u wit. GL

well i opened it up and its got a "J" on one side and a"1" on the other sound like anything special?

Sounds like a stock cam, or at least a stock core. If there are no other marks on it then it's almost certainly a stocker. Those two marks you see are on a stock cam (the numbers/letters can be different though). Another give-away is if there is a auto decomp mechanism attached. Most aftermarket cams don't use them.

i dont see any decom. on the end of it thats why i was wondering what it would be ive had it apart but im not the one who did the 440 kit in it so im tring to figure out what else i can do to it for more power

Here's a picture of a stock cam with the sprocket bolted on and a WB regrind with no auto decomp and no cam sprocket.

hhmmm well then i guess im goig to order a stage 2 cam then and get rid of the pos thats in there cause im pretty sure it is nothing overly special now that ive looked at that thanks for the pic that helped alot
