BPG...Cody airs it out!

With no good racing close this weekend, we decided to hit our home away from home for a few days, Breezewood Proving Grounds.

Cody switched to some MX tires and took to the track saturday afternoon

The suspension is still stock, as I am waiting for parts to arrive to get him a better set up for riding. The stockers suck:p

Breezewood was visited by a group of wonderful people this weekend that were afflicted with Autism. I was asked to capture thier weekend and did just that. Sometimes I think people with problems are more happy and outgoing then so called "normal" people!

I was awoken this morning to a 450R alarm clock outside my camper:p When i rolled out I found a group of riders from New York that were having the last bit of fun before heading back home.

The impromtu goof off riding session was in full swing

Trust me, I did not ask for anything to be done, I merely snapped the pictures:p

A mud puddle helped add to the enjoyment these rascals were having:D

I just knew a wreck shot would be there for the taking

I wanted to bust out laughing but I wanted the series of pics more:D

The quad was perched perfectly on the bumper while the rider started to bail

Finally the action was over as the quad did it's impression of a turtle on its top

Sundays turnout was really good for directly following a big holiday

All day long riders were having fun and getting used to new machines!

First lap almost sent him to the dirt:p

Storm clouds would roll in, but only a few drops of rain fell.

With a wide angle lens, I could stand on the side of the jump as those going big sailed over head

The sun would march back in and a change of angle would be needed for me to get decent shots

After the tracks are regularly watered, the corners tend to get slick

He was fine, a bit muddy but good to go!

This rider is a blast to watch, smooth as glass

Watching him lay it over on the step up was wild

Cody charged a bit to hard into a corner and could not avoid this water filled rut

The shot "Mom" got to see for the first time...I got a talking too after he landed:p I told her that I did not tell him to jump that and she needed to chat with him not me:p

I stood on another jump to catch what he was doing in this shot

Cody said he his hitting it at the top pf 4th gear to clear it:eek2:

The approach to the jump is not head on either.

First a berm

Coming out of the berm and there is a kicker

Hitting the kicker and then a WOT run to the face

If all goes well, you will be flying high

LOL..Dan asked if a 300 could make it over that jump, I reckon it can:eek2:

This rider has the worst luck with getting his leg under his tire:p But he is a great guy, and will be getting nerfs now!

Lil' Abbey was on her two wheeler after some mechanical issues side lined her from riding it earlier.

After hanging with randy lehr, Cody said alot of things...like...forget brakes, keep it pinned.....chicks dig a guy with amazing corner speed:p

We missed you guys not being there. We watched the UFC fight fireside till 1 am, it wasnt over crowded and was probably the best family atmosphere Ive expierenced at BPG!

He is fine,just not real exited about trying any doubles right now :p We took the trx90 to Taskers Gap trail riding this morning and he got crossed up coming down a pretty steep hill that was all loose rocks and he had to come to a sliding stop broadside into me to get stopped then came home got on the Kasea and got flopped on a double :ermm: I told him everyone has days like that.It goes with the territory.

That jump sends you so high if you hit it! He wasnt doing alot of the others because he complained the suspension was unsafe. If he came up the slightest bit short the rear end would try and bounce him over the bars. His nerfs were a factor also (lack of). Once we get her fully equiped he saud he will bust everything there is to hit:p

I simulated test rides on half the quads in the store and honestly just didn't see anything that I just had to have :confused: That is really strange too considering I had space on the trailer to haul one home and my wife's blessing to buy whatever I wanted :huh

dang pappy....cody is gettin some major air...i just got the 450r shocks on my 440, so im still waiting to try them out....im not ashamed to say that cody could totlly take me on a track....but i would give it my best shot.....after my back heals up that is....i rode off a cliff last night in albany at the sandpit....broke my new chest protector all to he11.....anyhow tell cody i said to keep it up...one day hell be on the top of the podium!

That's crazy how much air Cody is getting. Way more than I would have thought he would be getting this soon, especialy on a stock 300ex. I can't wait till next year, I'll be a regular down there at BPG.:macho

I did watch him reel in several 450r and YFZ riders. They would clear a jump Cody wasnt clearing and he would be on them. I like how he uses everything to better his riding skills.....and when you see a guy on a 450R realize he is being pressured by the mighty midget on a 300ex its hysterical
