Is it hard to replace intake valves on a 400ex?

you have to take the head off. and you need a valve spring compresor along with new valve seals and a head gasket.

Lapping the valves and valve seats so they seal up nicely is a good extra step to take. Old valve seats that have a lot of wear could need to be re-cut.
