i have a 400EX i been rebuilding from ground up. ill put up pics tonight. getting ready for work now... when to say the least, when its done, she will be one of he sickest youv'e seen. motor will be basically ALL new, arms re coated, swingarm, frame is now gloss black, air box mounts custom made to sub frame, rear plastic is black and fronts will be as soon as i can afford them...now they are red. black blingstar, I NEED NERFS!!!!!!:D more later. nice rides!

i now have black rears, fronts are coming(full bore with hood scoop) houser +2 swinger, LRD pipe or Sparks-not sure, new stem-secret :D AC Pro pegs and few other goodies. black frame is temporary. will be highway orange next year...

Those are duro gp tires they are used for TT racing. I put them on to run laps at a gokart track near my house.

the factory plastics were only $320cnd after market plastics are double that once you ship them to Canada. My uncle paid over $600 for his laker customs. I may do another make over on it this winter and i may go with 07 white plastics.

White would make it look nice... But those tires and rims suck! That front one looks bent!

It's not bent and I put in my last post that the were put on to try runing laps on go kart track. It was the first time out on them and they worked great. The hole shot fronts just won't last.

clutt225 in ur frame pic i where i circled in red it looks like it was welded after it was painted, im not sure why youd weld after you painted it:confused: , but i have been weling for awahile and can notivce that specific yellowissh brownish color around the weld spot:confused:

then agian it could be my eyes, or computer

That is just where the colour changes. It's powder coat not paint, so it could be from the fact that the white was aplied after the black so it would be a bit thinner there and may have burnt a bit.
Looks more grey and less yellow in person.
There is a better pic of the frame on page 2 of this thread you will see what I mean.

yes i seen that picture and it looks good but i wasnt sure if for somereasone during asembaly u had to weld it, but like i said it could be my eyes, or computer

Great build bro!!!! I dont care for the graphics much though, but thats just my opinion.
