anyone know alot about airsoft guns?!

wad up im thinkin about gettin a new pistol and i have no idea what good manufacturers are out there. i heard there is an Electric/Air pistol...dont know if its true. but i also want a good lookin one that wont break the first day. and $$$ wont reallly be an issue. so if you could post some pics or names of pistols that you know about or have please do.

It all depends on the amount of money you want to spend on the gun. Now you said that money really shouldn't be an issue so now you have to figure out what kind of pistol you want. They make three basic different kinds, gas,spring,and electric. Spring will be the cheapest, but the gas operating ones IMO are the best looking/operating ones. IN case you don't know much about them, the gas ones work somewhat like a paintball gun. The mags for the gun hae a chamber that you fill with green gas( the kind of gas that is used for airsoft guns) and then they fire semi-auto( some models have full-auto) off of that gas chamber. After each shot the slide racks back like a real psitol, reloading the gun. The sring pistols are just like the ones you can get at walmart/your local sporting goods store, and then there are now some electric operating onces that run off of 7.2volt mini batteries. Some of the better brands for all pistols are Tokyo Marui ( they make gas,spring and the newer electric pistols), KWA ( they make pretty good gas pistols), western arms ( very high quality gas pistols, up in the ranges of $200-$300 for one pistol) and a few other brands.

do they look legit? or if you were to stuff it in somebodys face they would laugh at you?

My buddies got a all black one, looks real as can be! Its heavy, made out of some metal, and with the orange piece off it could act like a real gun.

it is a tad bit illegal to take the orange piece off, or to paint it a different color

lol I have that some one. I went to sports authority and bough some clear pistol, it turned out pretty kick ***, it hurts more then my auto gun.

yea i got that gun for christmas and i lost the charger....i just love the feel of a pistol in my hand and i dont know which ones are good....but i will find one.

Just get a springer for a pistol, than really any of them are pretty good.
