i run 17 in the fronts and 13 in the rears but my track it extreamly hardpacked and sometimes gets a blue groove.

man i think you guys are a little high. i have 18 inch mxr6's in the rear and i run about 4.5 lbs. ive done lots of trial and error on how much to run and found that is the best.

Run that low of pressure on your rims on an MX track and kiss your rims good bye. I would egg-shape the rims in a few laps.

Plus, you are trying to let your tires provide too much of your suspension instead of your shocks.

4.5 lbs is good for trail riding though unless you like to smack into logs and turn them into jumps to get over them like I do. :D That is why I run Hipers now.

thats why i run mine so high now. i did have mine very low around 4 but after bending a new set of beadlocks first time out i said never again. i thought the point of the beadlock was to keep the tire on so you can run lower pressure but not that low. 10 is my starting point at every track.
