ok, dont laugh, but can somebody give me the basics of jetting? im starting to get into the jetting aspect and i want to learn as much as possible.

My quick answer is to stick around and keep reading. Before long you'll start picking up the pieces and putting it all together.

First, get the basics down about what factors effect jetting and what the different carburetor circuits are. Then start experimenting with your own jetting to get a feel for how lean and rich feel, sound, and generally behave. After a while you'll start helping other poeple with jetting!

ETA: there are jetting articles on this site and elsewere on the Web that will give you step-up.
