So the motor on my 520R let loose a few days ago and I finally got around to calling nMotion to check on prices. Looks like it did around $3700 worth of damage depending on what they can do with the head and crank/rod. And to further my good luck the current batch of 520 cylinders wont be avaliable for another 4-5 weeks. There goes the rest of the racing season I guess. I cant descide if I should go ahead and spend the cash on re-doin the motor or just take $3700 less and part the quad out. Here are a few pics of the mess.

thats nasty and thats rediculous...$3700 is outrageous...what needs to be done?

wow, that really blows, I'd part out the quad though if I were you seems to be a pretty big pickle to be in...:chinese:

i feel your pain, i have blown my kfx440 so many times, and even if i try a new big bore it still blows. Just goes to show you that these bikes werent made to be bored and to still have realiability. Hope you make it through it, because it is a stressful time!

my old dr500 dirtbike droped a valve and chewed up the piston
