How much does it actually cost someone to powdercoat a frame, swinger, ect. in materials? My best friend knows someone who owns a powdercoating company, and he said he would let us coat our stuff for free. Even though it will be free, he said he had to order the colors that we asked for, so I'm paying him. I want to pay him back for what actually comes from his pocket as well as some extra for letting us use his shop.

So, how much does it cost to actually do it minus the labor, ect...?

There's also the cost of blasting media, and that depends on what he's using . Also, The cost of the gas, natural or propane, or electricity to run the oven. Neither, combined, should end up costing more than the powders themselves.
