Just wondering.....what does it take (installation wise) to put in the kickstart kit for a yfz450. I've seen the kits and i know all the parts it needs, jut need to know how deep much of the motor you have to take apart to access where the new stuff needs to be put in......And also, what kickstart lever should be used with the kit?

Thanks

i have one on my bike..

drain oil
remove water pump
remove the right side case
remove clutch/oil pump
then install the gears,ect.

You can use the 1998 YZ 250 kicker or the GYTR billet one.

You don't need to remove the oil pump or water pump. Just drain the coolant by removing the bottom screw on the water pump cover.
