Any of you LTZ/KFX/DVX folks running a DRZ-400E base gasket to bump up your compression?

Cool. Do you know if the DRZ-E cams are more agressive? I guess they'd prolly cost more than a Hotcams settup anyway though...

Yeah i know that the drz cams are more aggresive than stock ltz cams, drz also has beefier valve springs, and the rev box is interchangeable as the drz revs out a little higher. If you find a good sale on the web you can score HOT CAMS stage2 for around $210ish,picked up my rev box for $100,and got my drz valve spings, and base gasket from bike bandit.com forget the exact price on that but it was pretty inexpensive.all this combo'd with a good exhaust system and pro-flo/k&n set up wakes up the Z pretty good.

Good luck

ao if i use the drz E base gasget i will bump up my compression and can use pump gas? also will the slight lag in the timing chain be an issue? does the differnt base gasget really make a difference? please help i jsut wanna go faster but still use pump gas

the cams you run may play a role in whether you can use pump gas or not. my buddy runs pump gas through his without any problems. i doubt the difference from the gasket alone will be anything huge. i would do it when you want to change the cam and/or piston.
