I have had a handfull of quads in the past 4 years...
01 Raptor
04 YFZ
86 250R MX
01 Hybrid YZ426/400ex
05 Warlock CR450F Hybrid
86 250R /CT350R

I have never had or rode a 450R....
I am looking for the Pros and Cons of the quad....all your input would be a big help...

04 with lots of stuff done to it. Not a problem as well.

It will be mostly like the yfz out of the others you have. It wont be like the CT 350, that quad is insane. Neil, a guy I rode with and I think works for CT, had a 350 powervalve. Stupid fast.

The 450r in stock form sucks and you might be disappointed at first. Wake it up like most quad owners and look out. There are really no pros and cons, whatever the yfz has could be compared to the trx I guess.

Are you comparing it to something?

i too went from LSR265R to a fully modded laeger/axis 450r.... decided to go back to a 250R.

now have a 01' LSR270R, and not missin the 450 at all.

my next quad will be a hybrid if i get bored with this again.

Some people just prefer the 2 strokes I guess. I have raced a 330 in a straight line and have only a pipe and cam and did good until he hit 6th then he started to pull me, maybe 2 bike lengths. I would like to see what big bore 450r would do. The power obvoiusly feels different from 2 stroke to 4 Its all in what you like. Get both! I plan on getting a 250 once I finish my 450.

a piston would help that, you don't need a big bore:D
