You could use a transmission cooler from a car. I have been looking at one that Ramchargers sells. no clue whats involved in installation.

there was a post on this awhile back.it had also contained the idea of installing an electric fan on the current cooler.i've been playing around with the idea but havent had time to look for a fan small enough yet.look in the back posts for some more info.

PPD Racing makes one, they claim your engine will run 10-12 degrees cooler. The retail price is 270.00, there great for big bore engine's.

I've pondered this question for some time. Initially I thought about taking two 400 coolers and placing the lower upside down, and moving the existing cooler up. This brought up one concern, is the stock oil pump strong enough to handle the extra resistance and provide adequate lubrication to the engine?

The fans on the Recons are too big and bulky to make a clean entry into the 400ex's chassis. On the other hand, the recons cooler has one more row and looks to be a bit wider.

I think if an aftermarket company would get on the ball they would have a hot seller on their hands. A seven or eight row cooler with a 3" diameter low draw fan.

Hey if you just want to decrease engine temp. 10-12 degrees you can do it a hell of a lot cheaper than 270 bucks just switch to mystic sx-8 5-w50 or 5-w40 synthetic oil. It lowered my oil temperature 15 degrees. From running maxxima
