Temp Fix

I was riding on the week end and my chain fell off and went through my motor cover. it leaked some oil, there is a small hole, would jb weld or cold weld work as a temp fix

I have seen that done as a temporary fix. Another option is to have the hole welded over.

You can get a new side cover and gasket delivered for around $125.

ETA: That's to the US. Not sure about Canada.
