Interesting .... but wouldn't be for me .

As far as them being the first to come up with the Independant rear for racing ATVs , I'd hate to burst their bubble but a company out of Manitoba , Canada has had Independant rears suspension for the LT 250r and others for a few years now .

Seems to me that there would be an issue with body roll...

I'll stick with my swingarm/axle setup....

Is it just me, or does it look like the back end gets kicked up a lot right after take off? Maybe 2 shocks that preload and kick it up? I noticed it in the 1st vid.

That is also an insane price, I would just by an Outlaw if I wanted suspension like that. that seems like GNCC suspension and not somthing that would be great for mx. If you wanted to race GNCC's an ltr450 isnt for you. its made to be riddin on an mx track.

If it was that great why wouldent it be on a machine from factory. Looks like lots of extra weight and rotating weight to me.

I agree though. I say bring on the new inventions. It may not be for eveyone, but to some it may be just the ticket.

Just checking out what everyone has to say. If you have any questions about the setup just let me know.

The rotational mass is less than a stock axle! The axles combined weigh 19lbs and a durablue axle is about 25 lbs. With the progressive shocks the body roll is kept to a minimum but we like to stiffen up the front a little to limit the roll. The rear is about 49 inches wide right now with a 3+5 offset rim. Therefore you could potentially take the width into 47 inches just by changing the rim offset.

The unit is within 10 lbs of the stock unit and is about inline with a aftermarket axle, shock, and 4130 chromoly swing arm setup.

The axles are very durable and are made by Gorilla Axle. The axles are rated for angles upto 40deg and are a superior product.

We have proven to be much faster in muddy conditions and I suppose the same thing goes for desert racing. We will be getting the kit into the GNCC circuit soon and we will keep everyone up to date on the outcome. All of the riders that have tested it love it. It is tough to get everyone’s approval when no one has ever seen or driven the setup. Those with a sense for technology love it and view it as a step in the right direction. Others are skeptical, but everyone is skeptical about new products.

well, instead of buying ONE back shock, you'd need TWO, plus a-arms... uhh. just a tad bit expesive for me.

i dunno if it was the rider or what, but in that MX vid, doesnt it look like that back sprung up a lot? kinda like he's got too much rebound. idk...
