I live in Williamstown which is about 3 miles from Tower City, PA.
The first set of pictures is from Pottsville. The other ones are from my house.

Here's the pictures from our pavilion and some pictures to compare how high the water was.

Where our horseshoe pits are.

Past that tiki tourch is about a 5 foot drop to where the creek should start.

Heres our pavilion after the flooding went down. (I was sitting on the table in the first picture.)

Here is the creek on the 4th of July. It's still a little high. I was standing at that tiki tourch when I took this picture.

Your pictures aren't coming up (red x's) but I was in weatherly this past weekend, and while the water had now receeded, you can clearly tell where it washed out the rail road tracks. Also, the coal pits, which were empty and free of water, are now filled to the top :eek2: . The water went from not existing, to being 20 feet+ deep :huh

Hope your house/family made out okay, I know it was bad up there especially after the damn broke.

I was up to our house in Weatherly to do a little riding, too. Alot of huge ruts where the water washed out most of the dirt. I didn't see too much water near the coal piles. The silt pile between Rt 309 and 81 was dry. We had a blast as usual.
