Hey everyone, been a while since ive spoke haha but some of you knew i had a firebird formula (3rd gen) and i was selling it. I got a few to many tickets in it, and i drive about 70 miles to work/school and back a day and plain out like to drive so i wanted a gas saver. I work at Cleveland Pick-A-Part all we do is Camaros, Firebirds, T/A's, GTO's, Vette's, Chargers, and all newer High Performance stuff and ive had a thing for the 4th gen camaros for the longest time and finally got one, its a 3.8 liter 6 cylinder, not what everyone wants in a camaro but i was looking to get good gas milage, decent power with the good looks of the car. So i sold my Bird, bought this camaro and these rims for it. and i love it so heres some pics.
I am AWARE it is not a real z28. I just put the emblems on there for looks :)

Thanks guys, it is an Automatic, I couldnt find a Stick one. Yea i love the wheels, i bought them in BADD shape and spend hours and hours of cleaning and now they are great.

unless u plan to turbo or blower it and make it a sleeper owning a 6 plug camaroe is sumthing i would be embarrased about. not brag about... my gf's eclipse would run circles around it...

i guess as long as you like it then its cool, just not my thang.

and a 6 plug is going to be better on gas... but its putting the z28 on the 6 plug is something to be embarrased about

i would be embarrassed to drive that car with the Z-28 emblems. i mean people wil know it aint a real Z as soon as you start it up, a 6 will never sound like an 8 no matter how hard you try. lose the emblems if you have any respect for that car. but it aint a bad looking F-body and those wheels dont look half bad on there.

If you could drive with some self control (which most of us cant) Im willing to bet the z-28 would have got better gas mileage on highway driving.

We have CTS-V's at work, you paid 70+ thousand dollars for that car. I paid 2 thousand dollars. Please understand you paid alot of money for a vehicle and it should have 405 hp stock.

2grand. Eclipses, CTSv's, and etc etc will run circle around it, so you gona lend me the money to buy one? Thats what i thought.

Yeah, i'm kind of a speed freak. My avatar is another pic. I think I was runnin 129 mph on that one. My '05 GSX-R I quit lookin at 156 mph b/c the wind was blowin me around pretty bad.

r we comparing speeds now? hell my gf's gt eclipse will do 160+ though after about 130 the acceleration tapers off a lot. i had a CBR F2 that i built it would run over 160 against the wind, that was an old carbed 600cc bike. my v-twin superhawk will only do about 140 but my gf screems at 100 so anything over that doesnt matter anyways.... maybe i can take pics of my speedo's this weekend or something.... btw we didnt pay very much for the eclpise.

lol, thats still 25 times what he paid... so unless your car is 25 times faster, his car is the better value. :cool: not saying its not a sweet cts-v, its just way more than alot of us kids on here can afford.

those rims definitely do look nice on there... but all you got to do is look at the exhaust and instantly know its a 6.

I'm not a kid, but i am not old. I'm 24. It would take 5 miles goin down a straight 45 degree angle for an eclipse to do 160+. 130 is believable, but the motor is no longer makin power at that speed.

It's an LS6, the only difference is the cam, but I have had it up to almost 22 mpg w/ it on cruise control for about an hour on the interstate.

Putting a fake badge on any car is just WRONG! A z28 will get the same gas mileage if not better as long as you don't mash the throttle all the time, and you won't need to with a z28. My z34 3.4 DOHC will take the 3.8. But that camaro looks really good.
