My brother has a 04 YFZ450 & bought a Cobra rear swingarm skid plate.Last week it was rattling real bad.When we check it, two of the four bolts holding it on had the heads sheared off on the chain side.We got the rest of the bolts out pretty easy & replaced the two broke ones.After we put it back on it would still rattle at high RPM so I tightend them some more.My brother took it around the trail a few times(skid plate hit nothing)& brought it back.One of the same heads was sheared off.Has anyone else had any problem with this?I was going to use stainless steel bolts,but was told that was a bad idea with aluminum(they fuse together over time).
