Swingarm question

I have a 88-89 style frame and i want to run a 86-87 style swingarm because i got a good deal on a burgard swingarm. Would it be ok to run this with a spacer in the middle? I dont see why it wouldnt but you never know. Any suggestions would be helpful.

yeah use a spacer. depending on the frame you may even be able to use a stock rear 86-87 spacer that has the 4 rear motor mounts on it. maybe cut off a couple of ears if necesary.
