I mainly race Harescrambles but i also like to drag race my friend on his 440. I was thinkig Stage2 for the woods racing but will it take away some of my top end? One more question. Are these cams anyway similar to Web, Tc, GT, etc.?

Stage 2 will give you more mid-top end & take away a little in the bottom. I like mine & did notice that the bottom was a little milder, but it'll still pull you up real quick, and you can always paly w/ gearing.

With the Stage 2 cam, or any top end cam for that matter, the machine feels a little closer to a 2 stroke. It does take away a tiny bit of bottom end, but it is very easy to work around by simply shifting to keep the power going. The mid range picks up the bottom end slop real quick the top end just keeps pulling. I would stick to a low end cam for woods and play riding, and a mid range or top end cam for everything else.

Do a search on this topic as it was discussed b4 and there was some good info.
