I just read an artical in the lastest issue of Dirt Wheels about the frame breaking where the rear shock linkage connects to the frame. Just wanted to see how many people have had this problem. I was wanting to get a lt-r but now I don't know if I should wait untill the 07's come out to see if Suzuki fixed this problem. Any thought's?

rockabilly13,

There is a Safety Recall out for all early model LTR's from Suzuki where they address this issue. If you have an early model LTR that meets a certain VIN # range, you must take your quad to the dealer for inspection. They will either fully weld that area (like they did mine), or if it has already suffered a crack in the weld, or it is broke, they will replace the frame. There are many past "threads" on this forum that address this. If you buy a LTR right now, chances are that the VIN # will be a "newer" version and will NOT need this done. I would imagine that the '07 LTR's will not have any problems. Good luck.

Get one man, I love mine!
