What is really cool, take the 2 liter bottle and screw the lid on after you put the mentos in... If you have the balls of course!! lol Anyone who tries this..please video tape it. :D :D :D

1) it was never a secret how it was done... so it wasnt revieled

2) thats how I do it, you just put the pack in screw it on and shake shake shake :D

once the pressure is really really high open the cap a bit then throw it down on the ground. it will rocket up like a model rocket :P

Or....

You drain the top 2-3 inches of coke out of the bottle. (so it's 80% full. Hook about 5 menthos to a string so it will stay above the coke. Put a small bead of superglue on the threads. Screw the cap on, so it will hold up the menthos. Let it dry for about 5 minutes.

Tie a kite string to the neck of the bottle. Back up about 20ft.

Pull it over and run like hell.. lol. If it doesn't explode... break out the BB gun. ;)

We did this on the 4th of July. My friend heard it on the Tonight Show or something. So I go get the mentos, people know me around here or something I guess and the cashiers like, "Oh you ganna try the coke thing." LoL. We bought Diet Coke, with caffine in it and I made a tube out of paper and shook the bottle, opened the lid and dropped them in about 15 I guess and jumped back and it made like a 20 foot fountain, it was sweet, and yeh if you throw the lid on it is like a rocket.

You guys need to watch what you are doing. Getting caught with that stuff or the famous drano bombs is a 5th degree felony which is pretty serious and may land you some jail time. I mean not that I would know :devil:
