My dad owns a tricked out raptor 660 and i own a brand new suzuki lt-r 450. My dad and I lined them up the other day to see witch one was faster. I kind of thought that the raptor would be able to beat my 450 since it was all tricked out! But it didn't my suzuki beat the yamaha over and over. We even traded quads and my suzuki still won. My suzuki had a few small modifications when we raced, a cherry bomb, and the baffle was removed but thats it.

I've beaten this one in particular 660 several times at a local beach. He came back out yesterday with sand tires and the baffle taken out his pipe. My ltr450 still beats him in the sand.

I race this passed weekend and got the wholeshot every time. The other quad guys were very impressed with my suzuki because it was beating quads that had more then 10grand invested in them and the suzuki is stock.

Use to race at the Amite river, but they put a fence up now blocking access. So, i guess where ever we can run them we go. State Capital Dragway in Baton Rouge has a sand drag track 300 ft.
