Welp. for the last 9 days I have been on vacation. Started off at the ebach and ended up at Breezewood for the last 4 days. Sure needed the break, but now I am as tired as i was before my vacation:p

I snapped a few pictures for you to enjoy.

Link to all photo's from todays action (http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/thumbpage.aspx?e=2006386)

Ryan is really getting good on his KTM

Brian from WPP Racing was up testing out a new head

Pappy

The weather was hot and humid again, but gave way to overcast and a shot or two of sprinkles. Riders were on Breezewoods tracks early trying to beat the heat

Pappy

Cody had been riding for 4 days straight, and decided a sandwich from the dining hall is what he needed:p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 06:52 PM
Dan Harris, BPG's owner, was out checking on everyone and keeping an eye on the tracks

Pappy
07-04-2006, 06:55 PM
I was happy to see the clouds, shooting pictures in the middle of the day usually produces less then ideal results. besides, I have had my share of sun this week:p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 06:57 PM
Abbey was learning to ride her two wheeler as the rain drops started to fall

Pappy
07-04-2006, 06:59 PM
The rain did not last long and more riders started hitting the tracks

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:01 PM
Since I started doing Photo CD's for folks, I made sure to get shots of everyone

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:02 PM
I always had fun shooting bikes, but the need wasnt there up until now to post a few:cool:

Laying it out as he rips through the high walled berm.

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:05 PM
Banshee's in this area are few and far between these days, but this one was sounding pretty sweet

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:06 PM
Nothing like the sound of two cylinders ripping away from you!

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:08 PM
Brian giving the new head a good testing

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:11 PM
I grabbed every shot I could, it just helps when it happens to be a nice looking quad

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:13 PM
With a light day and the upper track to ourselves, Cody set out to start learning how to jump his new 300

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:15 PM
He took his time and slowly started hammering just about everything

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:17 PM
I will give him credit, if you leave him alone he will work out whatever he needs to in order to make that quad do what he wants it too. I zoomed in close as he heads in for a landing to catch the concentration on his face

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:19 PM
It was neat looking at the pictures seeing his brain ticking:p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:20 PM
A few D6 XC riders showed up for some seat time

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:22 PM
It was cool meeting a few more new folks from the site!

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:24 PM
Ryan was riding extremely well all weekend....but that wouldnt last:p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:25 PM
Abbey gace the bike a swift kick when it wouldnt start and took off on her quad:macho

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:27 PM
Bouncing from track to track keeping tabs on everyone was whooping my ***:p Cody would nail another jump it seemed everytine I returned to check on him

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:28 PM
He really liked one 40 footer and was having a blast each lap hitting it

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:30 PM
It did seem odd he would take a short break whenever i had a drink:ermm: No wonder I am always thirsty:p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:31 PM
Back over at the youth track, Ryan was ripping through the berms

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:33 PM
Returning to the upper track found Cody still doing his thing:p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:36 PM
The boys from Juniata racing showed up just as the evening sun stuck its head out from the clouds....

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:39 PM
i couldnt have asked for two more willing subjects to shoot, and the sun was doing just what I needed

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:40 PM
Usually when everything comes together...well, the results speak for themselves

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:41 PM

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:43 PM

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:44 PM
I believe he is now running 2nd in D5 points

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:47 PM
I reckon a few of these shots may make it to some of thier sponsors...

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:48 PM
I guess I needed to make sure I could still get it done behind the lens. I think i can:p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 07:50 PM

Awesome pics, as usual Pappy. Cody is really ripping it up, I believe that boy could make any quad look good!
I really missed riding out there today, but the way things are popping and cracking in my chest, I think it was a good thing I came home when I did.

Pappy
07-04-2006, 08:13 PM
Everyone was talking about your mishap...I told them you were actually fine and staged the whole thing to leave early:D :blah: ( I do hope you get better FAST..we need ya!)

In the back ground, you can see the jump hondaracer31 took a pounding on yesterday

Pappy
07-04-2006, 08:16 PM
Ryan was on a different level riding this weekend. He only wrecked once, he followed Abbey for a lap or two and finally saw another bypass line next to a table top. It is a double filled with water(water jump)

He almost cleared it...lol

ROFLMAO .

I've heard a couple guys screaming at the track while they were in some major nose dives . The infamous " Oh F**K !!!" is usually louder than most piped 4 strokes . :p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 09:52 PM
Cody loves that inside corner on bikes:p

Pappy
07-04-2006, 09:56 PM

My favorite jump on the upper track is that one 40 footer:)

I like it because it feels like you get so much air time. I hit it about 3/4 throttle in fourth gear and then burp it.

hey cody,
is it hard changing from the 90 to the 300?
but from the pics looks like there was no problem!:eek2:

Pappy
07-05-2006, 11:22 AM
Cody will have to tell you his opinion....

From what i can see he is doing ok, but is fighting the width issue and lack of good suspension. I have it all ordered, just waiting for it all to arrive. He also held back on a few jumps, without nerfs he was leary on hitting something that could bounce him off the pegs.

Yfz450dan
07-05-2006, 12:42 PM
are u going to make his 300 a Xc or Mx bike?

Pappy

It will have to fill both rolls. It should be about 46 inches wide with 4-1 rims and a tad wider with 3-2's for mx so it should do ok until he is ready for more.

Codeman

YFZDan...it isn't that hard switching from the 90 to the three hundred, however, it is difficult to switch from the three hundred to the 90. That's because the three hundred fits me about perfect but the 90 is too small.:chinese:

Pappy
07-05-2006, 09:23 PM
Well if it is not that hard then we better be seeing a bit more air and some style:p

Pappy
07-05-2006, 09:24 PM
You actually did pretty good for the first real time out on that track

Pappy
07-05-2006, 09:25 PM
I reckon i should shut up since he can out ride me these days:p

I would go there just to watch you. Hahaha.

I was the kid on the Black R. I tried going out behind you a couple of times to check out your lines and stuff. But when You are goin 90mph through the corners its kinda hard to keep up, so next time slow down a little.

The one time when I went out behind you, you gave me the look like is this kid serious. Haha.

Oh and Thanks for hitting that other double after the uphill table, I didnt even know that there was a double there untill you hit it. I saw that and then put on my gear to go out and hit it. Its not bad, just gotta set up for the turn fast.
