need help now

[stupid driver]

i am in the middle of takin out my choke. i cant get the damn carb off. on the top of the carb there is a metal hose like thing attatched to the carb with a bolt. is this the throttle? what do i do about it, cuz the carb wont come out without takin it off, and im a little scared i mite screw sumthin up. please sum1 has to know wut im takkin bout

Here is a thread w/pics http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9144&highlight=removed+choke but I don't think it spells out exactly what to do about that cable attachment. It is said that the choke removal can be done without removing the carb. One way or the other, I will find out this week. My new pilots finally arrived, and I wanna remove the choke before going to Silver Lake next weekend.
