i personally do not run these shocks, but i've heard nothing but good things about the FOX FLOAT"S. easy to set-up, adjust, ect...

The Foxs suck.

The PEP 8 click compression only fronts are all you need, and are better then the Axis and Elka models you have listed.

this thread is a complete waste of time. how many people can afford to have every brand of shock set up for them and then properly evaluate them? so what you're left with is dude saying his elkas are the best because he rode his uncles cousins neighbors 250x with axis from a z400 and it sucked, therefore axis sucks. ideally if the shocks were properly set up for your riding style and weight you'd hardly notice a difference between them. but usually they're not properly set up so what you're left with is how good can each manufactureres workers set up your shocks for your purpose?

don't rely on the opinions of this web site. call some of the aftermarket suspension guru's, GT thunder, Santo, Pro Pilot, MXTech, etc... and listen to what they have to say.

I disagree 110%. We are one of the people that you are talking about. Ive formed my evaluations off of our bikes, which has had all the shocks listed, with the exception of Evols, but had Floats on a bike.

I can sit here and tell you the Pros and Cons of each one all day long.

what are you disagreeing 110% with? i have no idea what R3concepts does but since you have experience with all shocks please elaborate on why PEP's are the best. i'd love to read an informative thread explaining the pro's and cons of aftermarket shocks. but since this is exriders i'm sure it'd quickly turn into a flame fest. which is why i think this thread is a trouble waiting to happen. probably 80% of this site is comprised of kids, and i'd say that maybe 1-2% of the members have the proper experience to reply in an informative manner on this subject. that leaves the vast majority to reply in an uninformed manner...

My vote is elka. Just from the customer support I recieved this year. I bought a used rear shock that was thrashed and they totaly rebuilt it for free for me at the budds national. I cannot speak for other company's but the help they gave me and the others at the track was unbelievable. I also have long travel frontend that after making some adjustments, (which is very important don't be scared to adjust) handles great.

Check out Motowoz, they are just as adjustable as any other shock. From everyone that has had them or rode on them I have not herd one complaint. They also offer a Titanium spring kit.

Their website is www.motowoz.com

i had elka quad rate comp. and rebound adj. I had no cmplaints whatsoever even thought i did take my time and dial them in. and all i hear is axis and pep are SOO much better then elka well i thought my elkas were awsome. my question would be is it really worth the money to get that much of a better shock??

thanks for your help quys!!
