cut green wire changes timing curve?

I just read here that if you cut the green wire it changes the timing. I was just wondering if that is true? I know it raises the rev limit. Before I cut mine I was thinkin maybe it would effect the timing but wasnt sure. If anybody knows for sure thanks in advance.

it is stated in the hrc manual in reference to the loopback harness that bypasses the green wire, it does not state what the change to the curve is though
