It was a TRX motor stock with a cam and piston.

It was baldwin 14:1 and Baldwin MX cam I seriously doubt either of those had any thing to do with the failure though. Upon further inspection it looks like an oil ring broke and stuck the piston and it pulled the rod out of the bottom of the piston. The wrist pin was just a victim.

I have heard that the Baldwin pistons were having problems oiling the wrist pin .Talk to CHAD from DRG.

I've heard this too. I don't know for absolute if this is a problem with the piston or other problem causing this failure. I think it's only been a couple out of many produced so i can't say its problem with manufacturing,...

I'm planning on pulling it apart and taking out anything that is still good and then throwing the rest of the pieces in my growing honda scrap heap. Then I plan on starting all over with a brand new honda crate engine. I was wondering if any body knew how close the motor mounts are from 05-06?
