i want to trick out my 400ex i want to make it as fast as possible
i need some help on what bore size to get. some guys say a 416 accelorates faster than the 440. i want power from bottom to top.
give me a list of what to get and what bore you recomend. i do alot of trail riding, and i like to drag race, and go to the dunes. i have hotcams stage 2, hmf slipon, k&n. i want to be able to compete with faster quads

do a powroll 440 storker i think its a 426 or 416 piston with a 4mm stroke while your in there, get a heavy duty rod and go 12:1 compression amd a hotcam stroker cam with heavy duty head studs( dont forget to run race-gas, make your gearing a bit taller, and go smoke some 450s (most)

now your probably thinking "im not a **** bank"

in order to be serious about going fast, it is going to cost money....there are cheaper more common ways but you'll never see the horses out of a drop in piston with a stage 2 hotcam that you will with a well-built stroker....or otherwise....goodluck....dont forget a bigger carb too :) a lot of people like 400$ fcr:)

Go with the powroll 440 stroker, killer setup.

My setup: Powroll 440 stroker w/HD Rod, stage 3 Hotcam, P&P head, CRF cam chain, stock carb so far. This thing has insane low end torque and pulls hard to the rev limiter.

This setup does very well against the new machines.
