I rolled my quad over about 2 times and bent the hell outta my steering stem. My question is: Should i buy another OEM stem for 50 bucks off of ebay or is the housers so much better, they are worth the extra 150 bucks?

after market steering stems r stronger and u can get different lengths,and bar sizes in clamps.

an after market anti vibe stem is worth its wieght in gold!!ive got a +1 antivibe and love it!

Yeah, I looked at a Houser and the LSR stems... $225... :eek: :eek: :eek: I don't have that much money to spend on a steering stem bro. I am a poor college student and my parents will not lone me some cash.

Here's the deal, you can buy a stronger stem, and then next time you roll, something might need to bend, and since the stem is stronger you might bend the bars, or something else. The way I look at it I'd rather the stem bend then possibly messing other stuff up. Even a brand new stock stem is cheap, and since it's fairly cheap I'd just get the stock stem, unless you want different clamps or a + stem or something...

depending on what quad you have ive seen antivibe stems for the 400EX going for 150.00 on ebay

Still $150 is not cheap for me, bro. I can buy a new OEM for $50 on Ebay. I am a poor college student currently. $50 bucks is a lot of money to me. lol :p

Actually, thats a good idea. Hell with wasting it. How much do you get for donating these days??
