F-150 2.5" Leveling Kit

Does any body own a 2004-06 F-150 with a 2-2.5" Leveling kit? if so tell me how you like it?!?! good quality? looks good? ride good? easy instalation? made by? just tell what you think about it...

with that little amount of lift, i would just crank the t-bars. that is if you have IFS, but i dont know how yours is set up

haha... you probly going to think i'm an idiot... but i'm just getting into this leveling/suspention stuff... so... whats t-bars and IFS?!?!

yes i have a front 2.5 lift kit.it's a leveling kit.it's great..i bought a sky jacker.this kit u have to take the struts out of the truck and tear them apart.my freind bought a 2.5 leveling kit off e-bay that u just install them inbetween thw top of strut and upper strut body plate.if i had to do it again i would do that.i installed both of them.my buddies way is the way to go.it takes about 1/2 hour each side.but i am a ford tech so.and for the torsion bars there is none for 04-06.the leveling kit makes it set perfect.have a front wheel alignment done after.

that sounds like what you want to do one_bad. it's cheap, and easy. i just installed a similar lift (2.5 front/ 2 rear daystar spacer lift) on my 02 jeep liberty. pretty easy and straight forward. you'll have to take the struts to les schwab and have the disassemble/reassemble/ect the struts with the spacer and new top mounting plate. $50 for both, which is a good deal if you think about how dangerous doing it yourself with homemade tools is (i know, i tried it before i took it to them)

I have one of these leveling kits you speak of. I bought one from Autospring. I can't remember what the website was, but it was one of the spacers you put on the top of the coil. It was a fairly easy installation, and I beleive they are on ebay also. Here is a pic or two to show you what it looks like.....

I had a leveling kit on my 04' F150 i traded in. I miss the truck but not the payment or gas mileage. I don't remember the brand but i got it off ebay. Here is a pic........

i have a 04 ranger and put a 3inch body lift. It looks good and only cost $220 from summit racing. I also cranked the t-bars. they are i think 14 MM bolts located under the truck. Look for these bars located on the front near the arms. it will run back under the floor board. (they hang low you can't miss them) there will be a bolt you can tighten and it will raise your front end but it messes with the ride and toe en of your tires. I only tighten my 4 turns each and I have had no problems and it ride good still.

what do ya'll think about body lifts?!?! my dad bought me a 3" body lift for my truck for my birthday last year... but we never installed it becasue i didnt know if i would like it.. seeing the gap between the frame and body...

what do ya'll think about body lifts? any pics?

there ok.my buddy bought 1 for his f-150.the book was about 5 inches thick.one of the local body shops around here installed one on a f-150 and took about 30 hours.it's a lot of work on the 04-06.

hey man, i have the autospring 2.5" leveling kit on my 04. i have had it for exactly one year, and put almost 30k miles on it. i also put 33" tires in some moto metal 17" wheels. its great, and i still fit in parking garages. email me if you want pics or anything, as i dont check this too often.
