Okay so heres the deal. I have a choice between a car ( Acrua Integra) or a truck (Ford F150). There are pros and cons about each. I would like to race dirt bikes but I also want a nice fast little car to trick out. The truck wouldn't cut it. Would a Integra be able to haul a trailer and a dirt bike if it had a hitch? I would really much rather have a car. What are your guys opinions?

Buy the F-150, haul your dirtbike wherever, and still spank any 4-banger on the way there:p

lol my sisters bf has a intergra it goes fast as hell but i dont think it would haul anything around that well, because it has a clutch, and its a standard and the motor might now have enough to pull around a trailer or dirtbike, so i would go with the truck.

i say the the f150. im sure it wouldnt be fun trying to haul a trailer around in the integra and when it snows thats a whole nother story. youll be glad you have a truck in the winter months and its much easier to just throw the dirtbike in the back of the pickup and off you go.

an F-150 would be of 10x more use to me than a little car

If gas mileage is a problem, the Integra.. But if you want something to make it easier to haul stuff around, the F-150. Plus, chicks dig trucks. :blah:

chix dig fast cars too. lol. the thing i hate about ricers is the guys who have body kits and they think it makes their car faster and they dont even have and aftermarket exhaust system or anything.(theres a guy i kno like this)

my vote is for an s10 extreme. thier sharp lookin trucks and you can buy tons of stuff for them. you can make one look just as nice or nicer than any ricer on the raod and still haul your bike.

s10s are junk i know because my dad used to have one and sold it for an f150

the f150 has never had anything wrong with it

Right now I have nothing to transport my quad around. But I need something to haul my toys around because I got caught and fined and all that happy bull*****. I was thinking of a rather small trailer and a dirt bike and have the Integra haul it around. I heard people doing this with other 4cylinder cars. The truck is winning right now, and the reason I wanted to hear what you guys had to say is because everyone here says the Integra but dosen't support their answer. So yea. Bump.

ever think that maybe he got the ****ty end of the stick because i know plenty of people that have old/new s-10s and drive them everyday and nothing goes wrong.

i would go with the f-150 i have a bagged 93 toyota truck and wish i could carry my quad around but i have to use dads duramax. you will get bored of an import quick if you dont have the money to throw in them and go to rebuild/go fast. really i dont like fords but with your choice i would go with the truck

I don't really need a big truck with that much horses. Plus I don't think I could afford the gas on them too so I'm sticking with something smaller for a truck.

On the Ford it would be probably a newer 2000 model. Maybe 2001? My dad might help me with it but I don't think so. I seen some go for about 7 grand around here believe it or not. As for the Acrua, I was looking at the 1994-1996 models. Some have about 70k miles on them and are in pretty good shape for about 4 grand.

if your thinking about the whole import thing ill tell ya it gets old fast, i had a tricked out lowered eclipse and i bought it thinking it was bad *** but i couldnt drive it anyware it would scrap everyware, and i couldnt go up any kind of a driveway with a bit of a slope. if you get the integra i would recomend you not lower it or at least much, those cars have alot of potential. pull a motor out of a 1st gen CRV slap and SI head on it with a good exhaust and header and you would have a beast, im looking around for an SI head for my CRV so i can have a neat little sleeper i can play with people in. the truck has alot of advantages, you can go off-roading which is pretty fun and never seems to really get old. there is alot of stuff out there for both cars if you want to customize. one last recomendation, if you do go for the integra dont put a hitch on it, i make fun of people like that, its a sports car they arnt made to haul something, other than *****.

if you can get an integra with 70K for 4 grand your gettin a hell of a deal, those things run for ever. we had a civic with 243K on it and it was still runnin strong when we sold it, we never had major work done eather i think the biggest thing we replaced was the clutch. thats one thing you cant beat honda/acura in is reliability

If it was me, I know I would find more uses for the truck rather than the car, but thats just me... Either way I think you'll be happy though.

get a tacoma. good gas mileage, lasts forever, you can haul a dirt bike or a quad.

I like the whole import look and everything. I wouldn't lower it because of the pot holes and speed bumps just put 17" rims and engine mods with a nice sound system. If I had a truck I wouldn't take it near any trails. I like to keep my stuff clean and perfect. Lol. Right now, I want a Integra but I hate like hell to give up on quads. Bump for more opinions.

well, the way i see it is with quads, the whole idea is go as fast as you feel you can...there aren't any speed limits to get you in trouble. if you buy a fast car, the only time you can do that is at the track, and how often can you do that? since goin to the track won't be a daily activity, you're gonna be tempted to speed around in your new, fast, modified car. which is fine, except there is a thing that cops have called radar....it gets you into trouble real fast. and if you say, well i just won't drive fast in it, then what the hell is the point of having it? so, IMHO, its entirely pointless to have a fast car unless its just going to be a track car. but thats just me, you may disagree. good luck with whatever you decide to get :)
